As the Headteacher of Knutton St Mary’s CE (VC) Primary School it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school family.

At Knutton St Mary’s we value, and work in partnership with; our children, our families, our church and our local community in order to promote our school mission statement and to ensure that:

‘Together We Succeed and Shine’.

Our school is a happy, safe and secure environment in which our children are encouraged, supported and challenged to learn and achieve to the highest standards they are capable of.

In addition, we believe that we promote social, moral, cultural and spiritual development through teaching and example which is age and stage appropriate. The strong Christian ethos of our school provides us with a secure framework in which to do this and, as such, we especially value our Church school status.

You will find that your child will be supported and guided by a strong, committed team, who will plan learning opportunities and experiences they hope will engage, enthuse and enable children to be successful in their learning.

During your child’s time with us, we hope that you will become fully involved in their learning journey and that you will share any concerns you may have regarding your child’s education or their health, emotional or physical well being, in order that we can work together to overcome any barriers to learning and progress.

Please do not hesitate to call in to see me or to make an appointment if you feel that you would like to discuss your child or any aspect of our school life.

We hope that you, and your child, will be happy being part of our school family and that you will get to know what life and learning is about at Knutton St Mary’s by joining us at school events and activities as often as you can. By working together we will continue to develop and improve the outcomes for our children, our school and our local community.
